So let’s talk about the luck or bad luck I’m having. A month ago on a lovely Sunday morning I went to the grocery store and came back. Went back out to go someplace else and my car wont start. I’m fairly certain at this point it’s not the battery but call AAA anyway to see what they say. Guy comes out say nope it’s not the battery but could be the starter. I tell him it shouldn’t be the starter since I replaced that about a year ago. He pokes around and says not sure.

Fast forward a few days and after getting the car towed to the dealership they say the engine locked up because it has no oil. I’m like hold up the light never came on and he goes it’s a known issue. We will replace the engine since it’s under warranty but it’s going to take a month or so because the engine is on back order.

Let’s fast forward to last Saturday I get a call saying car is ready. Show up at dealership and while waiting for them to bring the car around the manager comes out saying I’m putting you back in the loaner car because a sensor needs reset and my tech isnt here who does that. Last night pick up the car, get in and airbag light is on. Talk to service rep. He says oh known issue but we ordered the part for that but it’s on backorder. I’m like ok and leave.

This morning stop to get something to eat. While I’m in the restaurant a truck that is delivering some goods backs into my car and puts a nice big dent in the driver’s side door. Poor guy who backed into the car was shaking and kept apologizing. Talked to the owner of the company and I’m waiting for him to call back after he talks to his insurance company.

What makes this kind of funny is I’ve been thinking I want to get a new car but have held off. I guess the universe is trying to tell me umm it’s time for this car to get traded.
