@warrior1955@wolfjillyjill I agree and yes it’s a freaking shame. We know she has the the potential to grow even bigger wings and soar but everyone keeps clipping her flight feathers.
I’d really like to know what goes on behind closed doors. Does AMC read the reviews? They’ve been devasting. Ripping the showrunners new assholes every week. The ratings falling precipitated the absence of Alycia, Colman, and Danay. Plus the uttered disregard of the main character/actor Madison/Kim.
I’ve read the comments on Instagram, Twitter and the reviews. I would say the ratio of likes to dislikes of the direction of Fear, falls in the favor of the latter.
I think so much of this negativity is because we had such a good third season, had so many powerful, exciting things to look forward to (based on a logical follow-up of season 3), including the expansion of Alicia’s character…and it didn’t happen. It was a big WTF for too many people. I think almost everyone believed the “crossover” was going to be a limited thing and it turned into an outright takeover.
And it isn’t just AMC that needs to pay attention, it’s the advertisers that will weigh in and have influence as well. Though it’s also possible the advertisers want male heroes and already had their say.
If they don’t course correct for season 5, we’ll know.
