I’ve met quite a few celebrities and athletes but the most famous is a toss-up between Bill Clinton or Barack Obama. Clinton I met by being a friend’s plus one at a volunteer appreciation dinner. He was shaking everyone’s hand and just saying a brief hello to each person there. Obama, I met when he was campaigning for President. He was speaking at a university a friend of mine worked at and I just so happened to run into him in a hallway while heading to a restroom. Shook his hand and told him he had my vote. He smiled and said thank you for the support.
I think I would have fainted or started crying.
It was a surreal experience to get to meet both men especially Obama. I’m sure I had a look on my face when I rounded the corner and there he was just casually strolling down a hallway. I’m actually surprised I got words out of my mouth.
