I’m not even sure why I even started thinking about this but back in the Xena fandom days there was a story called “The Speed of the Beat of My Heart”. I’m not even sure of the plot anymore but it was one of those stories that whenever an update happened it was like everyone rushed to read it. They didn’t update often but when they did it was several chapters worth of reading. Unfortunately, it was never completed and I think the only way you can find it is through web archive but if I heard the authors revived the story I would be over there re-reading it.

So, to the authors out there fretting over not completing or updating a story just think that story I mentioned was last updated back in 2001 and I’m willing to go back and read something 17 years later. Don’t let people get you down over lack of updates because there are more people like me out there who would rush to your story when you update it again.
