Trump, the guy who is so good at making deals he had to file multiple bankruptcies, says he can tell Kim Jong Un wants to denuclearize because “I know when someone wants to deal and when they don’t.”
in return for a handshake deal to denuclearize —with no timetable, details, or inspections by US authorities — Trump has decided to stop military exercises in South Korea, our ally and first line of defense against a possible nuclear war if Kim reneges on his “word.”
In the midst of all that, Trump says he and Kim have forged a personal bond and Kim “is a very talented man [who] loves his country very much.”
Basically, Trump found a new BFF (and hopeful mentor, since Kim is the actual embodiment of a dictator Tump wishes he could be) who gave us nothing in writing, but that’s okay, because Trump has a good feeling about it.
